The older I get the quicker the time flies, I swear! All these precious moments with our loved ones are happening right before our eyes daily, constantly. You think you’ll remember, and you will a very select few. I am often told that even though a Family Session lasts only one hour, it seems to encapsulate the feeling of the whole year. Having your photos taken yearly is a chance to capture “the time” that feels so fleeting to us otherwise. .

This shot would not have been possible had it not down-poured moments before we started! I love reflections ❤️❤️❤️. This was my first time with this sweet family and it was awesome. All my sessions are adventures and I don’t know what I’m going to get- inclement weather, a tired toddler, a husband that just got off a bad work call, a mom whose hair fell in the humidity... but we all come out on the other end of it with lots of laughs, good conversation and, of course, beautiful images! If you’re on the fence about doing a family session because it seems like a lot of work. Don’t worry, I got your back and You won’t regret it. My guarantee!! .

When this beautiful family told me the reason they wanted to have their session on the Moorings Golf Club course, they said “the last 6 months, this kinda kept us going as a family, walking the course and watching the boys learn from their dad.” And I was like YES! 🙌🏻 I already love the thrill of shooting at a new location, but when it also has sentimental meaning for a family, there’s no question about it. ❤️ .
