Chase is one cool dude!  Naturally, when you have parents like his, though… Amanda and Chad are wonderful clients with a hip and totally laid back style!  We met at the Lauderdale Yacht Club to photograph Chase for his upcoming One Year Birthday!  I can’t believe I photographed this little babe a whole year ago! I was pregnant at the time and now I’m like whoa, I have a 6 month old and Chase is ONE!  So a big thing for Chase right now is the fact that he’s been taking swim lessons and, as a family, they love to go to the Lauderdale Yacht Club pool where they have a membership and enjoy the facilities together.  This is a beautiful club with very cool yachts and boats lining the perimeter. This particular morning started out with a nice little breeze that VERY quickly disappeared. Poor mom and dad were struggling out there in the heat to entertain Chase for the the pictures but these two didn’t even complain about it- they worked through it with a smile, honestly. It was nice to change into our bathing suits for some water/pool shots- something I’ve never done on a session before. I loved it! I know this little guy is going to grow up in the water so to be able to capture these moments when he’s first learning (and doing awesome for a 12 month old!) are going to be something special for him and his family for a long time!
