Fun people make for fun sessions, even if it is 100 degrees outside, 100% humidity! The Kollmer’s like to have fun and like to do things a little different. When brainstorming about what we could do to make Baby Cash’s First Birthday pictures unique, mom Cassady didn’t turn to Pinterest. Together with her husband they came up with this brilliant idea that was inspired by some shirts the couple had- Johnny CASH shirts. Although they didn’t name little Cash after him necessarily, they both enjoy him and his music and had fan t-shirts that said “Cash is King”.  The writing on the shirts was in a grunge/graffiti writing and that’s where the whole graffiti wall idea was developed! How convenient is it that they are friends with an actual graffiti artist in Estero!! A lot of the work was done by Cash’s dad and I always applaud anyone, especially a guy, that is into DIY and has a knack for making things! This prop was awesome and you can get a taste the parents sense of humor with the Spray paint cans and oversized Yankee hat on the child in the beginning.  TOO cute!  The ending images are an ode to the couples favorite team: NY YANKEES! I’m a Braves fan myself, but, not gunna lie, it’s always fun watching the Yankees.   One of the great family photos from this session was in-studio with the parents wearing their “Cash is King” shirts and holding baby Cash in their arms with another DIY project- a tiny crown.  Adorbs! haha, did I just say adorbs?!  can’t help it!
